Enrolled in High Point (N.C.) University’s Nido R. Quebin School of Communications as a freshman in August 2009
Won his second All-Star Shootout at The Dirt Track at Charlotte Motor Speedway in May 2009
Made his NNS debut at Richmond (Va.) International Raceway on September 7, 2008, and followed that up with a career-best series finish of fourth at Memphis (Tenn.) Motorsports Park on October 25, 2008
Earned Rookie of the Year honors and finished second in the 2008 NASCAR Camping World Series East final point standings
Won three dirt Late Model races in 2007, including the May All-Star Shootout at The Dirt Track at CMS, before advancing to asphalt Late Model cars
Began racing career in Bandaleros and Legends cars in 2005 before advancing to dirt Late Model in 2006
